We only use GreenCoat PLX for steel installations. It is Nordic quality steel for harsh weather and greener living. GreenCoat PLX is used for innovative, sustainable colour coated steel solutions for roofs, facades and rainwater systems.

Widely used in sustainable architecture, GreenCoat PLX products offer an extensive range of colours and coatings with Swedish rapeseed oil. Most GreenCoat PLX products feature a Bio – based Technology coating where a substantial portion of the traditional fossil oil is replaced by Swedish rapeseed oil. The bio – based solvent becomes a permanent part of the final coating, making for a healthier environment and reducing the release of harmful substances into the air.

Steel as an alternative

Steel panels are available with a zinc coating and are a very good alternative to zinc at a lower price point. The high strength, excellent colour matching and guaranteed long life of steel panels ensures it is an excellent zinc or copper alternative.
