Boyle Copper & Zinc Craft Ltd has been established for over 13 years. We have completed over 2,000 cladding and roofing projects working with homeowners, building owners, developers, builders, architects and insurance repair companies.

Our Director, Alan Boyle, is one of the few fully qualified Coppersmiths based in the UK with over 25 years experience with hard metal installations. Alan is a Journeyman who completed his apprenticeship at the Heating & Plumbing Guild in Munich, Germany in 1996. His qualification is fully endorsed by The Chamber of Trade for Munich and Upper Bavaria, Germany. He also provides training to architects (CPD Accredited) to help them design their hard metal roofing and cladding projects correctly.

We can take on most Commercial Projects. We have many years of experience in the commercial and public sector. We have worked on banks, well-known high street chains, hotels, schools and churches.

We can take on most Residential projects. We have many years of experience dealing with typical projects such as roofing, wall cladding, extensions, dormers, bay windows, interior/exterior decorative works and rainwater drainage systems.

We also offer Liquid Applied Waterproofing and can provide maintenance and repair services to existing hard metal installations.

RECENT PROJECTS

Copper is a versatile material and is often used for standing seam roofing, flashings and copings, complete rainwater systems, standing seam wall cladding, spires, vaults, domes and various other design effects.
It offers beauty, long life and very low maintenance. It is also a highly sustainable material.
Copper changes its colour from a natural salmon colour to a progression of russet browns, greys and finally a blue – green patina after 15 – 30 years depending on location.
It is possible to speed up the aging process by using Pre – patinated materials such as Tecu copper or Nordic green copper which we supply and install.

WARRANTIES

We offer a 10-year Workmanship Warranty on all Copper, Zinc, Lead, Steel and Aluminium roofing work.

We offer extended manufacturer warranties on all leading brands of Copper, Zinc, Lead, Steel and Aluminium. We are approved contractors of VM Zinc, Rheinzink, Aurubis Nordic Green Copper, Tecu Pre-Patinated Copper, Prelaq Nova Steel, Aluminium coil.

As an approved roofing installer of The Federation Of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors (FTMRC), we can organise (for a small additional cost) a 10-year Insurance Backed Warranty (with an option to extend for a further 10-years). This insurance will ensure any required repairs to your installation will be covered even if Boyle Copper & Zinc Craft Ltd go out of business.
